Foreign leaders visit Ukraine to show support on the third anniversary of the war

KYIV, Ukraine (AP) – Ten leaders from Europe and Canada visited the capital of Ukraine on Monday to celebrate the third anniversary of the country's war with Russia in a clear presentation to support Kiev amid the uncertainty of the invasion of Russia.

Some of the most important supporters in Ukraine, including the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Lynn and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, were among the visitors that Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrei Sibhai, Chief of Staff of the President, Andre Yermak.

In a post on X, Von der Leyen wrote that Europe was in Kyiv “because Ukraine is in Europe.”
